Skiing at the Arlberg

Activities

The world famous Arlberg, “the cradle of skiing”, with 88 lifts, 340 km of groomed slopes and 200 km of deep snow downhill is right on the doorstep. A single ski pass is enough to discover the entire ski area. Lech Zürs is known worldwide as the deep snow eldorado and the Snowpark Lech is the perfect alternative in this freeride paradise.

On an area of 3.6 hectares, 17 obstacles, divided into an easy-, medium- and pro-line offer plenty of fun and variety. For many winter sports enthusiasts, spring is the perfect time of year for skiing. The days are getting longer, the temperatures are getting warmer and the minds are waking up. The firn invites on sunny days to glide over the snow crystals and the magnificent sun terraces allow you to recharge your batteries.

Innovations in the ski area in winter 2021/22:

After more than 52 years, the two-person Zugerbergbahn says “goodbye” and makes space for a high-speed 10-person gondola lift of the latest generation. At up to 6 meters per second, you can now be directly on the mountain in less than 5 minutes and enjoy the 360° panorama on the Balmalp.

The Madloch chairlift, which has transported countless guests since 1967, will also be replaced by a 6-seater high-speed chairlift with covers and will in future transport more than 2,000 people per hour.
