My personal hiking tip: Lake Zürs
Start your day in comfort with the hiking bus, which takes you from Lech to Zürs. Your hike begins at the Trittkopfbahn bus stop (1,717 m). Follow the road in the direction of Flexenpass and turn onto the agricultural trail after the roundabout, which leads you steadily uphill to Lake Zürs (2,160 m).
Once you reach the top, the lake invites you to take a short break. The impressive mountain scenery and clear mountain air make this place something very special. Walk around the lake to enjoy the many views of the surrounding peaks.
A narrow path then leads you across alpine meadows to the idyllic Madlochalpe. From here, you can enjoy a relaxing hike along the Zürsbach stream back to Lech. This route offers you the perfect mix of high-altitude hiking, idyllic alpine romance and easy descents - ideal for a successful day tour.
